Completely agree on Bella Swan. If she's supposed to be plain, than how did she attract guys based on her looks? If she was supposed to be plain, than her personality should have been the thing that caught the boys attention, but instead it's her looks.

i don't mean to be rude but i don't think you quite get what i mean, i'm objecting to the fact that you call her slutty and a whore because a person/character's sex life does not reflect what they are like as a person (also it's not really anyone's business). if a character is portrayed as "whorish" it's usually to imply confidence or whatever, unless it's blatant and encouraging girl hate...

i'm feeling a bit silly now because i haven't actually read those books, i just wanted to chip in. i definitely agree with you on hermione and bella though Mr. Green

No, the fact that she holds relationships with more than one, sometimes simultaneously makes her seem like a whore. I was simply stating the authors overdo it on the guys, and her habit of going and hooking up with one then bouncing around to the other, is kind of slutty. It's just my opinion that they perceived her to be kind of promiscuous.

re: house of night, slut shaming really isn't cool. so what if guys are fawning all over her and she dates a lot of them? it doesn't make her a whore.

Hermione Granger is the epitome of the smartass, intelligent and headstrong female characterizations. I love her because she was so independent, and of course because she didn't let something as silly as "love" get in her way.

Your blogs are honestly the best.

Hermione is a very underrated character in certain aspects. I'm glad that you've put her in here.

I had to laugh at your description of Bella Swan. Really, blank paper is more exciting. It has potential.

I agree with the majority of these. Out of everyone you named, Rose is definitely my favorite. She's just too amazing. But I also am very fond of Hermione (because who isn't) and Katniss. They're my top three, for sure. ^_^.

I also agree when it comes to Bella. God God. Lol. She's the most boring, uninteresting character ever. Like I've said since the very beginning, how could anyone fall in love with her? I just don't get it. xD

The one I do disagree with is Zoey. She's actually one of my favorite characters, too. I'm with you on the fact that she does get with a lot of guys. I really think P.C. and Kristin should tone her down a bit in that department. But when she's not whoring around (lmao), I like her a lot; especially with Stark.

All in all, though, I really liked this entry. :)

I LOVED ARYA! 'Nuff said. I love Hermione Granger even more though. She's amazing in both the books and movies! Gah I like Katniss too. (I'm typing this as I read, btw.) Her strong will faded in the third book near the beginning-middle.

I also feel the same way about Bella.

Ever. Again. I agree. I feel like I'd enjoy the story more if she was more... optimistic? I don't know.

I feel like the books each of us read would match up to one another. :)

Ah, have you ever read Crown Duel? I find the main girl, Mel, to be very kick ass. Lol.
