Seriously, no disc drive? Is it one of those Macbook Air ones? I wouldn't want to get that. I need something a little heavier. I'd be too afraid of it breaking. I'm still trying to decide between a laptop or desktop when I get one. I just need one that will last for at least a year or two before I start having problems.

That's not a bad price. I'd need to save a lot more for a mac >.<

Were there any really good stories on mibba that you remember? Maybe I'll start reading them.

Lol. Well the thing about my phone is that it las a little light that blinks green every few seconds, but if I miss a call, get a text, etc. it blinks red every second. So even if I don't notice an alarm going off, it'll blink red after it stops to let me know that I missed something. That little light helps more than anything. Does your phone have that?

My sister has a Mac laptop and it's pretty nice. The only thing that sucks about it is that it doesn't have a disk drive in it, she had to pay like, $20 to buy a seperate one. So if I was to ever get a Mac, I think I'd get a desktop computer instead.

I saw a nice gaming laptop in a Game Informer once, it was only like, $1,000 I think, which wasn't bad.

I used to read a lot of stories on Mibba, but then I got more active on Tumblr and just kinda stopped reading altogether, on- and offline. But now I've kinda gotten back into reading more. Lol.

I have a Samsung Focus. It's an alright phone, nothing too special. When it lights up I barely notice it though lol.

Yeah, gaming laptops are really pricey. I think the next computer I'm going to get is a Mac. I need a computer more for art than for games. It would definitely help while I'm in school, since I have to practically do art there 24/7.

It makes sense that you're on mibba often then. I haven't found a story to read on here yet that I like, but then again I haven't been looking for that long. There seems to be an abundance of fan fiction stories on here. Not that I mind it, it's just that a big portion of those stories are with famous people I've never eve heard of.

My phone is an LG Rumor Touch. Nothing fancy, but at least it has a touch screen and a keypad. I keep my phone right next to my computer, so I can feel when it vibrates. The screen also lights up when I get a call or a text or anything like that. Sometimes it's the light coming from my phone that gets my attention.

    That's a good idea.

I see myself buying it one day again in the future when I have more space on a computer. I've always wanted a gaming laptop, but they're so expensive. So for now, I'll stick to Sims 2 x]

I come online mostly for writing, although I do read stories here and there. Most stories I read I go off Mibba for. But I'm also a Blog Mod so I have to do my duties with that, and I'm always browsing around the Help, Suggestions, and New Mibba forums helping those who need it :)

What kind of phone do you have?

My phone sits a few feet away from me on my desk. My laptop is on the right side, near the end, and my phone sits on the left, near that end. Idk if I'd feel it vibrate or not lol.

Wow. That makes sense then. I guess I'll ask a friend of mine about it too, before I buy it in the future. She loves her Sims game, but I'm not sure which version she plays.

Damn, you go on mibba a lot lol. Is it mostly for writing, or for reading? I'd check it on my phone, but I can't go on the internet with it. The phone plan I'm under doesn't include it, so I'd get charged every time I go online. It sucks.

I usually don't hear my phone on vibrate either, but I can feel it. I usually keep it on whatever table or chair I'm at so I can feel it when it vibrates.

Well, I'll tell why I hate it from my experience. A lot of people like Sims 3. My sister even has it, but I hate it.

    - In Sims 3 it's supposed to have no loading when doing things, like moving from lots and stuff. Mine lagged extremely badly.
    - In Sims 2, when you send your Sims shopping, or out to eat, etc., you can actually be them in the stores and places. In Sims 3 your Sims go inside and you stare at the outside of the building until it's done.
    - In the original Sims games, every time you take food from the fridge, your Sims are charged. Each food piece costs a different amount. For example, making lobster costs more Simoleons than making pancakes do. Sims 2 doesn't have that, Sims 3 does. When your fridge is empty, your Sims pay to restock it, and then that's it, you wait until they run out of food. Sims 3 you're charged with every meal.

That's really my major problems. I bought it when it first came out, kept it for a few weeks, and sold it for about $20 less than my mom paid for it. I hated it, and just reinstalled my Sims 2 games. You could try Sims 3 for yourself, but I hated it. A lot of others seem to dislike it too, and prefer Sims 2, but there are just as many who love Sims 3.

I go on Mibba every time I'm online, plus I check it on my phone whenever I wake up XD I'm addicted, haha. I even go on at school when my class is on the computer and we have nothing to do.

I dunno if I'd be able to hear it vibrate. I just keep it on silent. I think I might try the alarm again and see if it helps lol.

Sims 2 is better than Sims 3? How come? I'd probably end up buying it online no matter what though. Sometimes there are coupon codes I can use for discounts or free shipping, depending on the website.

I don't go on mibba everyday, but I have been doing it lately. Not sure how often I'd b able to do it once school starts up again >.< And I understand about writing two stories at once. What I tend to do though, is do some research for the next story (even if it's a sequel) so that I have a starting point for once the first story finishes.

Have you tried putting your phone on vibrate? I don't hear my ringtone sometimes, so vibrate helps.

Sometimes Sims can be really addicting, but sometimes it can be boring. Lol. If you ever get it, I'd highly recommend buying Sims 2. However, you have to get most of the games online through sites like Amazon and eBay because they were discontinued with the start of the Sims 3 games >-<

Lol I come on Mibba every day. It's just my inspiration's been lacking, so it's been a while since I've written. I blame Tumblr and music lol.

No, if I do that, I'm afraid I won't finish my major story. I don't do well writing more than one story at a time. That, and I have such a list of stories to write, Idk what I'm gonna write next lol. Plus my major story might get a sequel, so. Lol.

I know it isn't. And I've tried that, but I always keep the volume on my phone off because I always have my headphones on. Haha.

Thanks :) It's not a website though. It's a program called HGTV Home and Landscape Design. I had to buy it, but it's decently priced compared to similar programs that are out there.

    @ ladyschrei
I wish. I don't have the Sims, but I'd like to. I"m afraid I'd play it all the time though, or that the program would take up so much room in my computer and slow it down, so I haven't bought the game. I love home decorating too. It helps me with other stories I write and it helps me with my own room too.

It's been months since I've updated my story too. Hell, I even forgot that I had a mibba account. It wasn't until I got a comment on my latest chapter that I remembered. It's sad, really.

You should probably work on a new story while you write the last few chapters. That way, when you finish the first story, you'll have a few chapters of a new story ready to be posted.

Going to bed that late isn't great. Sometimes, I set an alarm on my cell phone for the time I should start getting ready for bed. It helps. Maybe you should try that too. But try it gradually. So if you're used to going to bed every night at 4am, try to go to bed an hour earlier for a week, then 2 hours earlier a week later, etc. It might help. Smile

I honestly thought, before I read through the blog, that you made that room on the Sims or something XD

I think designing the house to go with the story is really cool ^0^ My mom used to have a home decorating program like that somewhere around lol, but it's so old. I want to buy one when I have money just because when I play Sims, I love house decorating. Haha.

It's not that I don't have time to write, but sometimes it's just my motivation lacks. I actually just wrote a chapter today and it's been months since I've written last, but I downloaded a new writing program today that actually helped me pump out a chapter.

Now I only have about two or three chapters left until my major story is done. Once it is, I'm hoping I'll have a ton of new inspiration for whatever story I decide to write next ^-^

My sleep for school nights, because I go to bed so late, is normally maybe four or so hours. I'm hoping to change that though. But my habit of, right now, going to bed around four and five a.m. isn't really helping my cause Mr. Green
