@OctoberA7X: I'm sorry. I'm not trying to make you feel bad. :'( Don't worry, I'm sure you'll get your chance. They're making a new album so they will definitely be touring again :) @SMshadows: Really? That's so awesome. I don't know if you remember seeing me. I was with another girl and we had on black shirts with those stick on letters. We should have just worn merch, but no. I was so awkward. I'm not so good around a lot of people :/ @ZackyEffingVengeance: I agree! Seeing Avenged is always worth it. I got burnt really bad. But I didn't care. Lol. I got a good tan out of it. But I'm SO glad we didn't get pit, because I wouldn't have been able to handle it. My feet were already hurting by the time Avenged came on. @Fantasy Monroe: I teared up when they played So Far Away. Every one had their cell phone and lighters up in the sky. It was beautiful. Though I wished I could have been at the one in California where Jimmy's parents were at. I bet that was emotional for everybody. Including the other bands. @Something Synyster: That's what I hate about concerts. You got these assholes who love pushing and grabbing. I was glad the pavilion here had seats, because if my ass was standing and I got shoved, I would have smack the dumb ass. I couldn't handle that shit. I'm glad all of you had fun though. I wish I could meet you all in person. I didn't get to meet many fans because the people here in Texas aren't that fucking friendly. Even the "A7X" fans -___-
I saw them November 23, 2011, along with Black Veil Brides, Asking Alexandria (Danny ripped hi pants) and Hollywood Undead. Between HU's and Avenged's set, some guy like shoved my into another guys back as had me basically pinned there just so he could steal my spot and I wound up having a slight panic attack because I could barely breathe. But as soon as I heard the first notes to Nightmare, it was like the whole world disappeared and it was just me ad Avenged Sevenfold. It was my first real concert and I was like 'I can die happy now!' It was the greatest night of my life.
Saw them in April 2011 at Edgefest! I was in the second row, and when the mosh pits started up, I thought I was gonna die. Baha. I was never standing on the pavement, I was always on someone else's feet. But it was great. Totally worth it, and I'd definitely do it again.
I was there too!!!It was amazing to say the least! From your camera angle, I think I was on the other side. After this show, I drove to Dallas to their makeup show (it was cancelled earlier in the year) and managed to stand front row in the pit!! And nearly died when Syn posed for my (many) pictures of him! I had seen them at Uproar the year before and fell completely and totally in love so when I found out they were coming again, and then again in Dallas, I knew I had to go! They will ALWAYS be the best live band ever!! Thanks for posting this, I just relived my own experiences! LOL
I cried while reading this...you don't understand how jealous I am! I live in Detroit and by some miracle they came here! I had the money for the tickets and had found someone to go with me but the concert was during the week and I had school and my parents weren't going to let me miss a day cause of finals so needless to say, that was the worst experience of my life and I don't cry but I actually cried cause before jimmy died I was too young to see them so I never got the chance to meet him like I said I would...ugh I'm tearing up! Glad you had fun :')
I saw them last year so its been a year for me too. I saw them on the Carolina Rebellion tour. Every band was amazing. But A7x words cant say how amazing they were. When they played "So Far Away" it really hit me that Jimmy wasn't there. I cant wait to see them again.
I got to see them once, a few months before The Rev passed away. I'm so thankful I got to see them while he was still alive!
My brother saw them on their first tour after The Rev's passing, and sent me pictures throughout the whole show. The whole time, they kept a picture of The Rev on the big screens around the theatre.
I just read all of that. God I'm retarded. I get all excited when I talk about it lol. But yeah. It was amazing. And they are hilarious. Love those guys. I really can't wait until they tour again!
I seen them live last November on their Buried Alive Tour. I must say they were amazing! Seeing them live is an adrenaline rush, and something you have to experience first hand. They interact with their crowd, and talk too. Their hilariousness, but yet amazing. I'd deff. see them again no doubt about that <3
