I'd just give her the suit! I swear, she sounds terrible! My ex got me a $400 bike, $800 engagement ring (which I still wear but on my right hand.) and countless other things that he wanted me to keep. I bought him stuff too, things I wanted him to keep as well, and since we're still close friends I still got him something for his damn birthday haha.

I say he gives the suit back, and if she refuses to give his things back get the law involved. That's what my mom had to do with one of her exes. She has no right to demand the money, because I'm sure he's spent well over that on her, if they went out on dates and such. Good luck though.

If it was something like a car or TV then I'd understand why.
But jeez, your ex got that stuff for you. Same goes for your
brother and his ex. She shouldn't need to be reimbursed
for the suit. How ridiculously petty of her.
