Lol. You eat this things in the States too? I'd thought it was a South Pacific only. Hahaha. Yep, freshman year was the toughest for me. I kept either forgetting to eat, not eat enough or eat too much. All unhealthy food (more like food I could afford etc etc) of course. I lost ten kilos over two weeks because of that. It was a tough time. Heh. Hope you're doing okay though :)

Ah. Yeah, microwaveable full meals are expensive. =/ Microwave dinners can be a few bucks a box and they're not filling. In that case I recommend Dinty Moore stew if you like it--it's really filling and it's microwaveable. xD Little more expensive than Ramen, of course, but might be a much needed break.

oh my gosh, I wish I could eat things like that. I don't have access to a kitchen, so I'm restricted to microwave cooking. But I'm working right now and putting all of my money away because I have to pay for my school on my own next year, and I've already got a good nest egg, so it's always so tempting to just buy and splurge, so I'm having to budget now and it's really hard.

But thanks for the offer, I will definitely keep it in mind for next summer, I know I'll need it then!

*hugs* Sorry to hear about that. I'm on my first senior year (probably first of three) and finances have been constantly sucky, so I've been there.

If you can scrape together enough money for simple meals, it might be worth it. A can of Manwich sauce and a pound of beef and some hamburger buns aren't nearly as cheap as a week's worth of Ramen, but it sure tastes better.

I don't know what your money budget is like, but hit me up if you ever want suggestions for easy-to-make full meals. I only know of a few of them, but they're usually things that will make several meals (if you don't mind eating leftovers for a few days) and they're not too complicated.
