Just gotta slow down the whole process. When I bothered to write I had the same problem. Focus on central ideas and make sure it's good the whole way through. After writing a certain amount, read over it as if it's not your own and ask yourself "Did I enjoy this? Why/why not?". But that's just how I like to do it :)
