Ohh, I'm so sorry that happened, and I'm sorry about your brother. :( I actually broke the tendon in my ankle last week, so I kind of know how you feel too. Hope things get better!

Heyy, yeah he's okay now- just hanging like hell. I just went from freaked out, to annoyed and having a go at his friends ( who left him) to getting annoyed at him for getting so drunk! And then I had about 3 hours sleep so I've been a bundle of joy all day :P Planning on giving up and going bed soon aha!

Gotta stay positive! Atleast you were home to help out your parents, even though it was a terrible experience. As for your acting bumming out I would totes fill in (if I was near you), with my terrible acting, but it will all be okay :) just don't panic! One day at a time!
