I think he's a sick fuck, and he deserves whatever comes to him in the afterlife (if there is one). I don't know how anyone can genuinely look a kid in the eye and then shoot them. I have a lot of cousins this age, and it terrifies me to think of what would happen if it had been a school in the UK, if it had been them. My heart goes out to all of the victims, and to the survivors too. I can't believe someone could actually do this. It sickens me to think there are people like this in the world.

I literally live about half an hour to forty five minutes away from that town. It was just so shocking to think that under different circumstances, that could've easily been my friends or my principal.

It is so awful that this person can look an innocent child in the face and shoot them. Truly horrible. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected right now. There's a special spot in hell for this man.

And the best thing? Today's my birthday, too, and now this is how it'll be remembered. </3

I wish there was a way to more knowledgeable about the people they are selling the guns to.
Then I truly want to believe he will face punishment in the afterlife.

I'm not saying take away all guns, I'm saying that it needs to be handled better. As for the man, he committed suicide right after it happened so he's gone.

I agree that what that man did is horrible, but gun control is not the answer. It takes a human to pull the trigger. You can't blame an inanimate object for what a human does. Take away the gun, he could have done the same with any kind of blade, blunt object, chainsaw... etc. It was a human action.

This murderer deserves to face the pain he has caused countless people.

I completely agree with you. I don't know how anybody could say such things like that. It's sad. :(

I think some people saying that are trying to rationalize what happened in their minds. Something like this isn't easy for people to deal with and finding some sympathy for the perpetrator may be one of their ways of dealing with it and coming to terms with what happened. It doesn't necessarily make it right but nothing about this is "right". Everything about this is messed up and everyone is reacting in their own ways, some more rashly than others and some are reacting more low-key.

It's just an all around hard situation everyone is having trouble coming to terms with and accepting.

I agree 100%. I just saw on my Facebook where somebody said he wasn't a criminal...>.> It's sickening for people to be taking up for him. As a mother I can't imagine what those parent's are going through.
