A plague has invaded Europe and America has reverted back into the times of drafting. Due to her brother being bedridden, Krisiga impersonates him and joins a team called the Extraction Forces. There she is meant to kill the infected (known as cannibals so far), search for survivors, and take them to the Safe Base in London. She meets an attractive Swedish boy with an odd personality. (Zombie story. Romance is building up, though!)
Kaiden is a girl living under the roof of a single mother, stepfather, and devil of a stepsister. She has plans to take part in the QuinceaƱera her mother is going to throw her when she gets mildly sidetracked by her stepsister's boyfriend. Not one for problems, she trys to steer clear of him but finds herself in a situation dealing with his 'popping' presence and her inability to ignore him simply because she's a polite person.
A refreshing new take of reality. Tegan wasn't much of a super loser or super popular girl in high school. She was just... there. People acknowledged her presence but didn't pay much attention. During this time she had her eye on an English boy who was constantly teased about his weight. A game of truth-or-dare knocked both teens into a surprise. Years later they meet up again in a rather awkward situation. Comedy and romance are tightly knit into this story already.
None of these stories are mine but they're of a good friend of mine. They're not finished, soley because of a reason the author has explained in Quarantine the Cannibals (she's only focused on that at the moment). All three are a good read.
