I get drunk and make friends with people who are as much of a social liability as I am.
Often in pub toilets.

I have been in Oklahoma for almost a year now and I've met plenty of people, none of which are really my friends because I'm too honest lol. I don't know why they're all so guarded.

I experience the same thing. Those same looks, etc. I think its because youre being honest and making yourself vulnerable, not acting distant or too cool or superior or guarded. Everyone is so closed off and self absorbed these days. Idgi. Its not your fault, though. I'll be your friend <:
