This shows how much strength you have as a person. This is such an amazing story and I'm sorry you went through a lot. But what doesn't kill you makes you stronger in my opinion.

It really is an amazing story. Every time I hear about abusive relationships, I'm always irritated but I've never really understood and haven't thought that much about it. But you wrote this so well adn detailed, that's it's easy to put yourself in the happenings and get what goes on. This really made me think.

Wow...that...that was an amazing story. I'm so sorry you had to go through that but I'm glad you're better and you realize what had been done to you.

I've recently learnt that one of my friends was in a abusive relationship, and from what she told me, her experiences were a lot like yours - the guy threatening to kill himself, constantly breaking up, the little insults, trying to limit time out with other people, stuff like that. So I can really understand how hard it is to leave a relationship like that, and how scarring it can be.
I'm glad you were finally able to get out, because nobody deserves to be in an abusive relationship. M sounds like a horrendous bastard, and I want to punch him, and I want to give you a huge cuddle.

No guy that intentionally hurts a girl, whether physically, mentally, or emotionally, should ever deserve anything less than my absolute disrespect.

I always kind of understood it must be hard for someone in that type of relationship to leave, but when you say that it really kind of puts it into perspective for me.

My sister's friend, her ex-boyfriend was abusive mentally and physically. She always told my sister she'd dump him, though, and she never did. I thought she should of, honestly, but reading that made me realize it must have been hard for her, and that's why she could never do it. I understand now though.

Honestly, I'm really glad you posted this, it made me see more on abusive relationships. I'm sorry you had to go through all that though. But if any guy ever tried to do that to you again, know I'd fly over there and kick his sorry ass. Just saying
