Thank you guys! So glad to see other people who realize that this family is awesome. I had someone tell me that her saying "a dollah makes me hollah" is bad and makes her mom look bad but I disagree completely. She's a kid and she likes getting money and that's something she just heard and that's how she took it.

I was watching this earlier and the more I watch it the more I love Alana and her parents. Family is obviously important to them, and they have done a lot for charity and seeing them go out on four-wheelers and mud slides at the weekend is freaking awesome!

I like the show, but I will admit to feeling second-hand embarrassment.
Respect for her mom, though. They seem puuurty dang humble.

My mom scoffs and calls it "white trash," but I had to roll my eyes at her because she sort of is missing the point. I'd rather watch that than the Kardashians running around.

Alana's quote about everyone being a little gay is one of the best things I've ever heard someone say. I personally don't find anything wrong with the show. It's fun to watch.
