Aw, sweetie, don't give in to cut! Do your best and think of a positive light to put it in. Like okay, you may not have done well in English, but what other class have you done well in? Or what special skills or talents do you have? You're absolutely right in the fact that words can hurt, it's all about finding a way to think of something that can help dull the pain without causing you harm. I hope you can find something! :)
