Right? Lol. I think if someone brings me a band and says they sound like one of my favorite bands, I would definitely check them out! The world needs more good music.
@ Vixyn Of Syn I get that. I try to tell people that they have some A7X vibes to them, and I have a ton of friends that are A7X fans, so it's like "why aren't they listening!!?!?!?!" lol
There are a few bands I'm doing the same thing with. I'm not having a ton of luck because people tend to be reluctant to listen to new music unless they're the ones who found it. Lol. Or unless you can compare it to something they already like and, unfortunately, none of the bands around here sound like...anything else, really. They're all pretty unique. *shrug* But I'm going to hang with a band tomorrow night, so I share in your excitement. :-)
@ Vixyn Of Syn I know! I'm friends with all 4 of the guys on Facebook (That was awkward when I sent friend requests lol because I felt like a creeper) But they recognized me from FB and essentially know who I am and stuff! I'm going to see them again in three weeks and I'm more excited to just get to hang around them. I"m still excited ot see them play but still, they're great guys!
I'm glad you enjoyed their music! I'm just trying ot help spread the word of their music and help then gain more support, more fans, etc.
Enjoy it! There's nothing better than building a relationship with a band and that moment when you realize you've gone from fan to friend. I've done it multiple times in the last four years and I never get tired of it. Lol. And I did get to check them out! They were pretty good! :-)

@ Vixyn Of Syn I get to hang out with them again in a few weeks. Haha I can't wait. They're the sweetest dudes ever. I hope you had a chance to check them out and I hope you enjoyed their music. :)
This. THIS is why I'm writing my true story "I Thought This Only Happened in the Movies" about my favorite band from my home state of Alabama, Lynam, and all the times I've hung out with them. *sigh* It's great, isn't it? Lol. I loved your story, and the picture was cute, and YES, HUGS ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, and P.S.--I'mma check them out right now. ;)
@ DarkestStorm A7X are one of my favorites ever! But yeah, Fist To The Sky are along those lines musically. Their drummer is pretty kickass. They have a cover of Trivium's "In Waves" on their youtube page, and the drumming is pretty close to how The Rev sounds. Some of their guitar solos, you can hear the similarities to Avenged (Their guitarists even do the back to back thing that Zacky and Syn do! XD). I think those are reasons how I came to like their music when I saw them back in November without knowing who they were.
@ DarkestStorm They are a bunch of good looking guys, I'll admit it as well! (unfortunately, three of them have girlfriends lol) They're also really talented I think. If you like bands like Avenged Sevenfold, Papa Roach, and along those lines, then I think you'd like them. They're super sweet guys, they love what they do, and they're just trying to make it. Right now they don't really leave Illinois that much (They're from Chicago) because they don't have the funds to do so. So naturally as a fan and a supporter, I'm trying to spread the word. :)
They are an attractive band, I'll say that. Hahaha. I'm really not that shallow. :( I was just saying...
I love it when bands and artists actually respond to comments on Facebook. It's such an amazing feeling. I remember when this actress on Degrassi, Alexa Steele just "liked" my comment to her on Facebook and I freaked out. xD Like so much.
That's awesome that they recognized you and all that. I'll check them out later today.
