    I agree, it was a bit disappointing. As you said they've been building up to this "war", to a huge battle, but it just never happened. Everything was unexpected, which in a way is good, but I still feel a bit let down by the episode. It doesn't feel like a season finale to me.

    I also agree with a lot of what you said. I'm glad some other people are disappointed with the episode too (and some characters).

    I was a bit disappointed, too.

    I mean, it wasn't bad. Just definitely not what I was expecting. I was thinking that at least some of the prison group would die (Hershel, Judith, Beth), and they would at least attempt to kill the Governor– I sure didn't think he was going to slaughter everyone and then ride into the sunset.

    I think the lack of anything huge– I mean, the Governor hitting rock bottom and Rick moving everyone from Woodbury to the prison was obviously kind of a big deal– but the lack of the anticipated war/fight gives more leeway for action in Season 4, I guess. This season ended on a decent situation for the prison group, and who knows how that'll end up playing out.
