There's no confirmation that is was about Katelyn's death as of yet. In my opinion, I don't think it is. But in saying that, Austin is my hero and I don't think he would have punched the guy without there being a damn good reason behind it. It's not like he committed a murder or anything horrible, he decked a guy and broke his nose. So what? It would have been with good reason for both him and their drum tech to get involved. I've seen videos of Austin threatening to fuck people up for hurting women at shows, and standing up for people all the time and I can bet that he was just standing up for someone like he always does.
I've been lucky enough to meet Austin and he is the most placid, happy and genuine human I have ever met. I will ALWAYS stand by him. Especially now, because I know his heart was in a good place.
