    I get turned off by ridiculously long titles, bad summaries (such as Fandom Character/OC, suck at summaries), bad spelling and grammar riddled throughout the stories, links being put directly into the story area (don't do this at all if you're thinking of doing a parody because it's against the rules of Mibba in general), and stories with Mary Sues in them.

    Don't forget the "don't like it? Don't read it :)" in the summary. Ugh. UGH. Never seasons to turn me off. Hand

    The first level is the title. If it's properly capitalised and not ridiculously long, then I click in it. Turn offs often happens when I go on the summary. If there is no summary or "Um, I suck at summaries so please read?" or just song lyrics, then I get turned off. I need a little understanding what the story is about in order to not to waste my time. Good grammar is a must. And if I see any typical cliche storylines such as "girl meets boy, but there is some form of a problem that keeps them apart, will they get together in the end?" I get turned off too. I want to read interesting stories that will keep my attention. So, I read the first chapter and I decide for myself if it's worth it.

    I fucking hate the stereotypical summary where the author gives a basic play by play and tell the reason what's going to happen by asking it. Example: Dean falls in love with Cas, but Cas is in love with Sam. What will happen when Cas and Sam begin to go out? Will Dean be jealous? Will Cas soon realise he loves Dean?

    Ranting

    When stories start all "Hey there! I'm Amber Jean Haner and I'm Brian's younger sister! I have long black hair and heavy emo bangs and I always wear my Superman sweatshirt that Matt bought me ^__^ and I have grey eyes that change colours." I mean um no. No fucking thanks. Rolling Eyes

    There are many more but I don't want to start bitching File

    @ serendipity;
    :O I didn't even think of that one, but it's so true. And it's also kind of hard to stay away from that because everything is so cliche and used these days.

    I honestly hate when too much is given away in the summary, whether it be the short one or the long one. If I click on a story and in the summary it gives the entire plot away... 99% of the time I lose all desire to read.
