I don't know why everyone wants to be blonde, blue eyes, skinny. If everybody was, we'd be clones. There would be no individuality at all. The skinny girls with blonde hair and blue eyes are pretty, yes, but everyone else is too. <3

Thank you for summing up everything I hate about society now a days. Even I catch myself doing things to compare myself to those 'perfect' people. But I'm not them. I am me. I might not be skinny, super tall, or have the blonde hair blue eye look, but I am perfectly content being me, even if I am what society considers ugly. I don't care what society thinks. They can take their opinion and shove it up their arses for all I care.

Well thank you for that! As one of those naturally skinny people, it really hurts when people say things like "It's gross to be skinny anyway! I don't know why any one would want to be skinny" or "curvy girls are much prettier." It's doing the exact same thing they are complaining the media does to them! I believe that, besides inner beauty being the most important part, every one is beautiful in their own way and it's just rude to say one body type is better than another because we're all the same, really.

Aw thanks ^.^ And yeah, I know there's people that are skinny just because they are, not because they're anorexic or anything. My sister is one of them. I didn't want to post something that sounded like I was trying to make thicker people feel better about themselves, I just wanted to post something that could apply to EVERYONE; everyone needs to be happy and loved no matter who they are <3

This is great. It's the first thing that I have read EVER on this subject that doesn't simultaneously BASH skinny people to make thicker people feel good. Good job posting this on here

Well, feel free to copy and paste it into a mibba journal or tumblr. :)
I think some people think the way they do because they just don't understand. Like guys who think that skinny is pretty, and all other girls are ugly. Maybe they were brought up to believe that looks are the only thing that matter, and not what's inside. I realize some of them are just ignorant assholes, but I'll leave that alone and thanks, it's the Internet, may as well try to do something good with it :)

YES EXACTLY.

I am hopeful when I see posts like this because maybe things are starting to change. It would be really great if everyone thought like this, I know personally I'd feel a lot better. Keep spreading the message, you're good at it!
