People are really horrible and that really sucks that they say that to your mum. Even though thin is socially acceptable, people will always be nasty.

My mom is very skinny even though she eats as much as I do - if not more, and she also gets a lot of stupid remarks from people, saying she looks like a skeleton and other things. People will bad mouth you, no matter what you look like.

This is definitely true.

It's no surprise that with an "accepted" body & face, you typically have more
options / opportunities handed to you on a silver platter. :\ Such a damn shame.
