Omg yes. I was out shopping the other day, sat down for about a minute or so to wait for my mother, and these two guys who were sitting across the table from me were trying to get my attention. And how did they do that? By calling me "Jugs" and hoping I would take the bait.

I just rolled my eyes, stood up and walked away. It is literally the most annoying thing in the world to get harassed for something stupid like that. Makes me feel I can't go anywhere - shopping of all places! - and not get that kind of treatment from guys.

Maybe you should try it as an experiment. Stare at them and say something creepy like, "YOU FINALLY NOTICED ME!"
Though that might be unnecessary. I agree that they'd probably be confused, even if you just politely thanked them.

I've always contemplated acting like I'm intersted. I think they'd be confused.

A thousand times yes to this I've never seen a girl react positively to comments like these, so I'm pretty sure they're intended to cause distress. Just keep walking.
