I think its just an excuse for people to basically say "I am less evolved and therefore cannot control myself and so rape women." If less clothing or some form of clothing a woman wears provokes you to attack people, then you really should see a shrink. There is no justification for rape.

Oh,no I was talking about a girl who had agreed with him in the article I read. She agreed with him that is was partially the women's fault for dressing that way. But they're in Az and that place isn't exactly the North Pole -_-. He needs to be more educated about these things

That girl is actually holding a counterprotest sign that says 'you deserve Grape', not rape.

This guy specifically addresses one group of women, so I don't know what to infer about the majority of women, who get raped in 'normal' clothes. Or the old women or the children. Since most rapists don't remember what the woman is wearing, it's clearly irrelevant. I read a study a few days ago that said men are more like to perceive behavior, not clothing, as "inviting" (thought not necessarily an invitation).

As if the world wasn't stupid enough. So I have a question about this. He only mentioned women. Do the guys that get raped , because yes it can happen , deserve it as well or is this a double standard? He mentioned that the girls were partially responsible for getting raped because of their clothes. What about the woman who are wearing jeans and a t-shirt? Do they deserve it as well? Because somehow their body is saying yes through those clothes? Um no. This is a prime example of an uneducated idiot. I bet you if he were ever to be raped he wouldn't be holding up that effin sign. And the fact there is a girl agreeing with him is even worse. I don't wanna live on this planet anymore.

If clothes are a big thing for people to get raped, then why make them? More so, why not go naked? You won't worry about clothes then. Oh wait, but that's easier access. If clothes are a big part of it, why do they disappear? People should think first.

That is a great fucking commercial. I'm going to post it on my Facebook. It's great. And, yeah, we need something like that here.

I was wearing loose jeans and a baggy tshirt when my ex boyfriend started harassing me. If a guy wants to fuck you up he will regardless of what you're wearing. Men are fucking monsters.

Following that logic, men who have a bulge in their pants are also asking to be raped File

I couldn't have said this better myself. Clap

I remember my freshman year in high school, I took this tech class and I was the only girl. For some reason that have 2 of the guys in there the idea they could touch me whenever and wherever they felt like it. The teacher (a male) never paid any attention. Every time they tried to touch me, I hit them. No regrets. File

I remember once on Tumblr someone had posted pictures of girls holding up signs where others told them they deserved to be raped.

I remember the one, her sign said she worked in a rape clinic or something? I'm not too sure, but anyway, her sign said that her brother told her because she worked in one of those clinics she should've "known better" or some shit like that after she was raped. How can people honestly say that? And to a sibling no less?

People make me so sick. Honestly.

Have you ever seen this? It's probably one of the greatest videos out there. If only they'd stream it here in the US, or make something similar to it.

The funny thing is, how come no one ever makes any commercials in the US to help stop rape, talk about it, prevent it, kind of like the one I posted up there? I cannot recall a single commercial that speaks out against rape. Which is sad. Completely sad.

Thank you, but it's fine. I've come to terms that I am a survivor, not a victim. It took a while, but I'm happy and all that lovely stuff.

It really is sick of people to say that what the person was wearing decides whether or not they deserved to be raped. People are sick, and uneducated. Unfortunately, until people smarten the hell up, there's nothing we can do except continue to try and educate more people.

Ugh. this makes me so mad! I was raped three months after I had my twin girls, and I will never fully recover from that. For me they'd use - oh he bought you lunch, you owe him sex. Women don't owe men anything, just like they don't owe us a damn thing.

I didn't ask him enthusiastically to drug me then take me to a vacant house and force himself on me, nope. If I ever met someone like this I'd probably beat them down and tear them down as a person. What if this was their sister or mother? Would they still be saying such horrible things?-

I'm sorry for what happened to you but glad you are doing well now.

People like this are sick. And they're uneducated on the issues. The majority of rapists do not even remember what the woman was wearing. If the clothes were so important, wouldn't they remember? And the clothes of children and elderly women are rarely "scandalous", yet they are still raped.

By saying that he's implying that the only women that get raped are the ones that do wear mini skirts, when in fact that's not true at all. It can happen to even the most conservative of woman. People are so ignorant these days.

    People are disgusting.
Did I asked to get raped when the 17 year old neighbor boy forced his way into my house? No. I was wearing a fucking hoodie and sweatpants. That does not mean I was fucking asking for it.

People like him, disgust me. I hope to whatever deity there is up there that I never have to meet people like this.

(Also, I'm not saying I was raped for attention or whatever, it was four years ago and I've come to terms that it wasn't my fault at all. He's a sicko and he's in prison now for a very long time. File)
