That's how you know she's one of your favourites though, that you can admit both her triumphs and her downfalls.
The descriptions of her stories really drew me in, so what more her writing? I should really put those on my to-read list. . .

For me Showalter is my hero. I am never bored with her work and am always screaming for more. I love how she combines mythology in her stories and love that every one of her characters are unique and loveable in their own way. Some you love straight off the bat, others you hate but then slowly grow to love or at times you just tolerate them lol.
