I agree with you. They have gotten much darker since the cartoons! Joker has to be my favorite Batman villain, and that's why I enjoy writing him because he's not just some bad guy. I'm more of a Marvel fan for sure but I love Batman and the Joker. I'm a big fan of how the franchise has gotten darker over the years instead of the cartoony vibe it had in the 1960's. When it comes to comic books I love the villains just as much if not more than the heroes because a lot of them are just very charismatic, they have a reason and a backstory that's actually elaborated on, and the hero doesn't always win. I love the Joker because he brings so much to the table as a villain, he's not just 'the bad guy'. glad to hear someone's writing stories about him, I'll have to check 'em out c:
