Just for starters, if you want to reply to someone, you need to hover your mouse over their comment and click on the reply button that pops up so you can send an alert saying you responded. XD

But I have a lot of stories from middle school and they're so horrible. Facepalm But I agree. I look back at all of those stories and have come a long ways since then.

Yeah, I have a lot of old composition notebooks that haven't been written in for years, and will never be published anywhere, for good reasons. I'm not gonna get rid of them though. It's nice to remind myself that everyone has to start somewhere, no matter how embarrassing that start may be.

I recently found my old journal that had a few old stories, and I laugh at how bad I was at writing. But I can look back and see how much I have changed, which is pretty amazing.

I used to have a really bad habit of wanting to use the same main character but in different situations. But in a way this sort of helped my writing, because I eventually started giving the character(s) different personality quirks and it made me think about how people react to situations depending on their personality. Woo, character development!

I was just doing that. When I first started to write I didn't really know the all the rules. I started to laugh when I was re-reading it. Like the biggest mistake I seen was quotation marks some were ' and some were ". I don't think I notice the different really at the time.
