I'm crying!! lmfao Tentacle porn?! XDXD
You should see the state of my bookmarks, would make a grown man blush LOL

    @ xMandiblesx
I prefer gay porn to "normal" porn. Don't know what that says about me but what the hell. I don't care. I do enjoy reading het smut too, I just prefer slash. I just love it tehe I think it was actually one of BHJ's slash fics that got me so entranced with slash in general. I've always preferred gay porn but had never read slash before. Now whenever I get a good story idea girls don't even come into it. Slash has ruined me. Facepalm

I hate the word pussy. I feel ridiculous even saying it haha. I use the word in my stories sometimes when I can't think of anything else to use and I've already used cunt a few times XD

I can't really comment on incest because I have read some down right disgusting fics and loved them. Shifty

Penis sleeve is my new favourite term. I am forever going to call my vag a penis sleeve. XD

  • Personally, I've lost a lot of care for Het smut. And to clarify, smut is sex, the act, Het is guy/girl, slash is guy/ guy and so on. For those who aren't to sure. Anyway back to what I was saying, yeah, I've read so many off putting Het smuts that I'm just like "Oh, this has a chick and a guy in it? Lol nope. I'm walking away." *singing* Give me two guys and I'm a creaming my jeans. TMI but seriously, my bookmarks are filled with gay porn links lmfao Not even sorry. tehe

As to names, I live by this: When in doubt, call it a cunt. People will be so scandilized they'll over look the fact that you couldn't come up with anything else lmfao I did read this one story on Ao3 that was so hot I was practically wetting myself and then all of a sudden up pops "Penis sleeve" as a description for her lady parts and I nearly died from laughing so much. I had to put the computer away so I wouldn't choke it was so hilarious. Penis sleeve, I've never seen it before lmfao "Hey big boy, fuck my penis sleeve." OMG LMFAO Who even says that? I am dying lmfao

As to not liking slash, to each their own bro :D Honestly, I think it comes down to believability as much as just wanting to read it. You say you read it sometimes but it's just not your thing. Could be you just haven't found one that's got you all hot under the collar *cough*read my Bratt*cough* Whistle And as to the comment saying Bratt's basically incest. In my world, there are no twins. Brian's a total size queen slut for Matt's cock. There are no female cock sleeves to be seen Snob

And as for incest. I feel I have no right to be against it because of some of the stuff I've read and enjoyed. Honestly, some of the things I've read make incest look like a shag at the beach. Tentacle porn anyone? Weird

Yeah, I agree with you there :S Fan fiction actually does get published (like as in legit books), and the stigma's still there. I'm sure when people argue as to why fan fiction shouldn't be published, they bring up 50 Shades of Grey, which only started as a fan fic. But yet, because of it's bad reputation, and the fandom it sprung out of, it pretty much just serves as a punchline. And yet no one brings up the other (well, the legit) fan fiction novels, like the Supernatural ones. Just because one piece of work is mainstream, doesn't mean it represents everyone else's work.
Looking at Mibba again though, I find the mainstream fanbases still get jabbed at, despite some great works coming out of it.

Haha I was going to ask if you wanted me to do it or if you wanted to :)

  • @ I feel insane.
I agree! That's why I was worried about the whole Amazon thing with fan fiction. I think it will bring fan fiction even more into the public and then along with that, it will make fan fiction a target because there will always be someone out there who will read a story, not like it, and then generalize it as fan fiction as a whole and not just one specific author.

  • @Matt Sanders
Yeah smut is smut and even if the words do tend to repeat themselves, I still love it anyway and usually have to change my trousers lmao.

  • @amabie.
Yeah I can see your point because sometimes it IS hard to come up with decent, more mood setting words to describe such things. Pussy does in my opinion just sound so porn like too because in porn, they use it A LOT, but I use it anyway and I think it's okay to use it as long as it isn't pussy that and pussy that in EVERY sentence. I fret so much over my chapters that involve smut because I want there to be variety when it comes to those specific words. I try to switch it up thought lol.

  • @theycallmerae
That is actually a great suggestion! Hahaha maybe I'll make one! =D
    May 28th, 2013 at 02:52am
  • I love reading smut and I also enjoy writing smut but I must say I always have a hard time with words to use as parts because I feel like I reuse the same words over and over. Maybe there should be a blog about smutty word suggestions :)

  • @SevenfoldfoREVer1666
Nah, I'm not talking about that or you at all lol. You were just stating how that story made you uncomfortable in general. You didn't go posting about smut as a whole and how it is all horrible because it wasn't written a certain way, so this isn't about you my dear lol.
    May 28th, 2013 at 01:13am
  • I agree well said :) whenever I go to write smut I always contemplate what words to use for both sex gentilia. I haven't made my mind up. I don't think I like pussy because I feel its too porny but I wouldn't stop reading I just cringe a little haha. Dick or cock I don't mind but its more difficult for the female, because vagina doesn't sound so sexy so I don't know what to write!

  • I feel like a stalker right now but, I do agree with you. Hopefully this wasn't caused by me saying I dislike smut because of one story.
I do like smut but not the ones too detailed because I can't think of band members who saved my life thinking that way. The way I see it is 'Band Members don't see us like that and we shouldn't either' because at the end of the day its usually a person younger than 18 and they would be called a Pedophile.
I also dislike incest, Bratt is incest if you think of it (matt+brian) they both married twins which makes them related some how. Not really incest but hopefully you get it.
BUT I DO LOVE MY SLASH.... SYNACKY... KELLIC..... BRUSNOP.....JALEX!!!!! SO MANY MORE!! Oh my GAWD!!! MY SLASH!!!
I do find slash more entertaining than smut tho. dont get me wrong I love some smutty stories but not lots of smutt. Like the one Zacky Vengeance; wrote for me the one in the middle ages that is enough smut for me..
But besides my novel above. I totally respect your opinion on your choice everyone doesn't have to like everything.

  • "Even though something isn't your preference doesn't always mean you have to tell someone or make it a point to tell them EVERY TIME."

This. Just this. This is how I feel every time I see a comment (be it an actual comment or something in a blog) about how someone doesn't like or write fan fiction or this fanbase because *insert reason why* and such. When people say stuff like that, it sounds like they think they're better than us because they don't write mainstream fanfictions (I know that's not always the case, or even if it is the case at all, but I always get that vibe none the less).

And I get how some people might not like these particular things because it's not their cup of tea, but I don't get how some people generalize fanfiction (or a fanbase) or smut because of a few bad stories they read. If the stories or smut sucks, it's because the author sucks at writing it, not because the genre itself sucks.

  • Smut....is smut. I mean I don't like many of the words but they still paint this picture, mmm!!! lol!!
