@ saeglopur OMFG, that's awesome. Isn't Lestat just I don't know...out of this world? Dimitri and Roza as he called her, and the succubus. You are amazing for liking these. They are my favourites.
@ cadaveres literarios Anne Rice's works are amazing, they are the first novels I picked to read. I have downloaded Chuck Palahniuk's works but I didn't have the time to read them because I still haven't finished the House of the Night series by P.C. Cast.
OKay, we have like three things in mega common because i LOVEE Lestat (and Queen of the Damned) and Vampire Academy is my favorite favorite favorite vampire novel ever and literally Succubus Blues is amazballs and so is Georgina Kincaid.
I have yet to read Vampire Academy, even when GoodReads keeps suggesting it to me since I love Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles; I'll have to check it out now, because it sounds interesting
I chose the character Shannon McFarland, the narrator from Chuck Palahniuk's Invisible Monsters. This is one of my all time favorite novels. Shannon is a model who ended up shooting her jaw off because she wanted to mutilate herself (on my recent blog I quote what the narrator was thinking at the moment). I have always interpreted this novel as the author mocking the conventional ideals of beauty that our society has. I think it's brilliant and very graphic; it was even rejected because it was considered "too disturbing"; then Palahniuk published Fight Club and then Invisible Monsters was given a second chance
