Personally, I definitely believe that aliens exist or at least the possibility of them. I won't say that I know that they have made contact with Earth or even that I believe these people that claim they were abducted by/saw an alien, but I believe the possibility is there.

I do think there is a common misconception with the terms UFO and alien, though. People always link an Unidentified Flying Object with aliens when they don't necessarily have anything to do with each other. I think people confuse a lot of their "UFO" sitings with "alien" sightings when the majority of these sightings are probably just a person not being able to identify what kind of aircraft they're looking at (whether it be lack of knowledge, the light, their lack of sleep or some other thing, hallucinogens, etc.)

I wouldn't go so far as to say that there have ever been any alien life forms on our planet, is my point. I'd even go so far as to say it's probably never happened yet. But I don't know that and I'm not going to claim to know that and I'll just admit that the possibility is always out there. File

As far as abductions, people will do a lot of crazy things to get attention. Some of them they may actually believe, some of them, they're full of shit. If it doesn't really affect my daily life or health, let them tell their crazy stories... Shifty

That's what I did. Even if you don't believe, it's entertaining to read.

That's true. I think he was specifically talking about life coming to Earth though. If another life form has the technology and physical ability to travel millions of lightyears through space, they prooobably kick our ass in the intelligence department. But who knows, maybe we'll be the aliens doing the adducting years from now.

That makes sense. I understand it completely. I just disagree is all. The idea of aliens is just so interesting to me.

Thank you he sure does! the same time it could be argued that aliens maybe are dumber than us and aren't as evolved as us and we are the most intelligent beings in the universe you know?

yeah it is very fascntaing, I just think the abductions and stuff are very fake.

    @ psychotic secrets;
Yeah I agree with that, I do want to so bad believe that aliens have adapted on a planet somewhere in the universe maybe will have the technology to make contact one day but I just feel like I won't know it my lifetime so I'm just kind of like well they don't exist to me, if that makes sense? I appreciate you understanding my side, I know its quite a complicated debate to have. I agree with bot side you know? I guess I'm kind of conflicted with what I believe.

    @ Red Death.
I agree that there is a very high chance they're are aliens but I really do not believe they have been to Earth or made contact I just don't. I argue with people about your point that aliens may be just like us appearance and being human, I mean the whole stereotypical 'grey' look just cheapens the idea of aliens for me which is probably why its so difficult for me to grasp the concept of aliens. I used to be an Atheist but I do believe that God created the big bang so I guess I combine my scientific thinking with a little religion. I can't be sure, I don't have hard evidence but just in my own head I am just very adamant in thinking that aliens don't exist.

I don't think humans would necessarily know if Aliens had contacted us, and Neil Trson Degrasse does an excellent job of explaining why:

Maybe we're not as smart as we like to think we are. If I can watch a worm or a beetle without it noticing me, a more intelligent lifeform could certainly watch us. Who knows?

I believe aliens are real. They have found several planets that resemble our own, so maybe they don't have the technology to even contact us? Seeing as we can't even get to mars, it would take about three years.

Who is to say we haven't already been visited, everyone is so fixated on the thought of little green people but what if they look JUST LIKE US. Human in everyway except not from this planet?

No on thinks of this, and this is why I think our technology boomed so quickly. I mean think about it honestly, think about it. We went from have to type every command into a computer to have computers that can type what we say.. that is pretty damn amazing if you ask me.

I believe the only reason we have the technology today is because of other beings...

You can argue God with me but it won't get you anywhere seeing as I'm an Athiest, and I have more than enough reason to believe he isn't real. I know there is other life out there, we are one planet, very miniscule compared to even the next smallest which is four to five times our size!

How can you be so sure?

It just depends in the person. It would be wrong to say something thing isn't real because someone doesn't believe in it. It is real to others. I know people who believe so much in aliens. Some people makeup their stories, others it actually happened to them. It depends on the person itself.

Like me, I believe in aliens. I truly believe we are not alone. There is billions of other planets, solar systems, galaxies and universes out there (if one believes in other universes). But as a human race, we know our solar system isn't the only one. Many people say aliens aren't real because there is no way the human race, as we are right now, cannot be duplicated. We are in the perfect spot in our solar system, and the perfect spot in your galaxy to live. But how do we not know that's the the same for other things. Some aliens might live on carbon dioxide and not need water. We need water, food and shelter, but who says EVERYONE does? As humans we have adapted to this planet. This water, this soil and this air. Other races did too. Aliens adapted to their own planets. That's what I believe at least.

It's just impossible for me to think we aren't alone. Out of billions and billions of planets how can we be alone?

I completely understand your side. I'm not saying your wrong, because you aren't. That's your opinion on aliens I ain't shit to tell you that you are wrong. I actually like your idea.

I've read countless UFO and alien books and am very fascinated by life outside Earth. I think that it's very likely. I don't believe the majority of abductions and sightings though. Most of it is clearly, speculation, misunderstandings, sleep paralysis or straight up bull shit
