I think I know the reason why many people be believe feminists wants males to be obsolete, to be worthless or dead. In every group, organization, religion, faith, idea, of people there is extremists. A great example is the bad reputation the Christian religion has with "sending" everyone to hell and and we are all "sinners" (which by the way isn't true. That's just the extremists). And what you explained is a "feminist" that is also an extremist.

Because at my school I knew one. She was so angry and hateful of the male gender, she targeted females who were friends with males. The girl wanted men to all be hunted down, banished and tortured. Because "all man" are evil and wrong. So naturally, the people in my school didn't like feminists because that's how she protrayed them. She would tell everyone how much of a feminist she was. At kne point she even threatened to kill one of my male friends. She was Sexist, snd even went to the point saying women are better than men. I know what she did was wrong and isn't like the rest of the group. I'm just saying there is people like that and they are spreading the idea that feminists are bad.

I'm not saying feminism is wrong. I'm saying that's probably why so many people don't like the idea. It's because of the extremists. Which is just silly because she the girl in school was, and is, Sexist. It's just there is a lump sum of women who are sexist towards men, and they use feminism as the root. If that makes any sense.
