I have an older brother who used to be in the Marines, and my cousin Allison has been in for 3/4 years now and is currently stationed in Japan. She's been there since she got out of boot camp. I have three friends going leaving out for the Navy in a couple of months. I have another friend going into the army, one of my best friends has his heart set on the Marines when he graduates, and then I've got a few other friends wanting to go into the Navy.
We're all in the JROTC unit here where we live. We're a Navy unit. A few of us actually got back a few days ago from a mini-boot camp. We were on a National Guard base three days. I have a blog up about it, if you're interested.
