Post-Series Depression - Comments

Oh my god that series. I only bought the first four (I ran out of money ahh), but I read those in like two weeks or s/t equally ridiculous, and I borrowed the fifth from my friend for after an SOL and finished it before everyone else finished the SOL, and wow, that was a hard time in my life. I always debate reading that series but I've heard mixed reviews about the author, so I never get around to it.

It's an okay series, but like, wow, Clary, she's annoying as heck. I have yet to find something, although I did read a theater AU that was one super long piece. It made me laugh hysterically at like two in the morning. Your writing never fails to be wonderful.

WHO SAID THAT, I WILL HIT THEM WITH EVERY BOOK. Reading is the greatest. I heart it. And you. <3 <-- heart of proof

  • This. This right here, I feel you, because it is my life. Oh my God. I went through it when I first read the Percy Jackson series back to back...to back...to back...to back. And when I reached the end (cuz I bought 'em one after one and read them all immediately) I didn't know what to do with myself. I spent more time wasting away then than ever before. I tried to fix it by reading the Maximum Ride series (SEVERELY MIXED FEELINGS ABOUT THOSE GODDAMNED BIRD CHILDREN AND WHAT THE ACTUALL HELL WAS THAT ENDING) and nope, let's just not.

I don't think I've ever read the Mortal Instruments series, but I can totally understand what you're saying about all the 'best' books. Ugh. Ugggggh. I wish I could recommend something, but at the moment, I cannot, because books have been disappointing me lately like aaaaAH. Your writing is my only escape.

Also, READING IS COOL AND FOR FAB PEOPLE (someone had the gall to say i was a loser for reading ok screw you dude.)
