This is so true! They expect teens to always gravitate towards Nickelodeon or Disney and crappy reality shows (which I admit I'm obsessed with), but I wish they had those types of series that the UK delivers for our age group. Something actually relatable and that could happen in real life. But yet again, censorship for network television here is much stricter than in Europe, so that could play a factor.

It seems like the UK caters to teenagers a shit ton more than the US does... like there aren't many good shows aimed at teenagers AT ALL, especially dramas. The first season of AHS and Bates Motel are the only ones I can think of, and even those aren't totally adolescent-centric.
