Really? That's awesome! I wasn't sure if I had any followers or anything. I'll try to update more frequently. :)

Whaaaattt!? I was watching Good Luck, Charlie the other day and didn't even notice! (I don't even frequent Disney Channel, anymore.) But that's crazy amazing and innovative.

[P.S. love your blogs by the way.]

Oh, definitely. There's always going to be a negative reaction from every person determined to deny human rights to yet another group of grossly oppressed individuals. But hopefully, for some kids, seeing such a message on their favorite show will outweigh or counteract some of the things they hear from their parents, even if it takes a while for them to stand up for it. Kids listen to tv shows all the time when they tell them to be overtly sexual and do drugs to have fun while their parents are in the background nagging them to slow down. I guess I'd like to believe that if it works in those terrible situations, it might work the same way in this great one.

A gay prince would be so cute like asdfghjkl and so would a lesbian princess like pls.
i would so actually pay to see the movie or buy the dvd tehe
and yeah semolina has a good point, a lot of parents may resort to not even letting their children watch the show, but then again, I remember when my mother wouldn't let me watch a show I would go over my friend's house and watch it so you never know; I think we'll all just have to wait and see. Regardless, the publicity it'll probably get will bring the issue up again and the fact that people are still not allowed to marry the people they love.

I think this is great, and I hate to be pessimistic but the first thing that came to my mind was how angry homophobic parents are going to react. They're probably going to raise hell, not let their kids watch Disney anymore, etc. Thus it will bring up the whole topic of homosexuality with their kids and they'll probably teach their kids to be homophobic. This is what came to my mind because I know that's what would have happened to me and its probably what will happen with my cousins.
