There's nothing wrong with that price for all of that

I didn't know (and still don't know) much about the whole thing with Kellin but $80 for all that seems worth it if you ask me. Especially when you think of the fans of One Direction and Justin Bieber who pay thousands of dollars to get a middle row seat at a concert and even more if you want to meet them. Us, the fans of alternative music, should consider ourselves lucky that we get things like Warped Tour where we can see all of our favorite bands in one place for a single price and stand as close to the stage as we want with free (usually) meet n greets. I paid $25 (plus a little tax) to go see AFI in Boston in October. And I think the Spring Fever Tour in April was something like $16 for a general admission ticket. If someone is complaining about $80 for all that, you must not realize how lucky we are to be blessed with such a great music taste and amazing men and women that make up these bands.

But yeah I didn't know for a while either but then I looked more into it and I was like "Really? That's a fucking great deal!"

I don't like Sleeping with Sirens, Pierce the Veil, or Of Mice and Men.
But yeah, if it were a band that I like, like the Goo Goo Dolls, Blink-182, or Simple Plan, then I'd definitely go for an $80 deal like that! <3
I honestly had no idea what people were talking about, but I never said anything when I heard about it. I'm glad I read this blog, though, so I do know.
It sucks when people over-react and/or bash talk when they don't even say the whole story (like saying "$80 for one picture" >.>)

I think so too. It's not like you only get a picture so i think the price is reasonable. I mean, a big chunk of the cost is for the concert ticket anyways.

I think Oli saying shit about it made people's hate a lot worse too. I'm not sure if it's just a signed picture with Kellin or the whole band but if it's just with Kellin I think that's why Oli said something....

People think that if they send hate they'll get recognized by the band members I guess.
I don't know, I've never sent any band member any hate.

Just because they're famous doesn't mean they don't have feelings.

I've seen more expensive meet and greet packages for less popular bands, so it's definitely just a reason for people to freak out because they already don't like Kellin (for some pretty stupid reasons, I might add). I've also noticed that around bands like Sleeping With Sirens, Pierce The Veil, Of Mice & Men, etc. there is a lot of unnecessary hate that gets thrown around for the tiniest of things. But you're right in saying that the label is probably deciding the price for the package. They also probably decided to make the picture just be with Kellin.

People only made a big deal because it was kellin. Honestly i thought the jokes were funny but people are taking it way too far.

Yea I do think its expensive because I don't really have that much money. Concert tickets don't really cost that much money it really depends on the concert and the people who are playing.

I will admit, tickets are usually pretty cheap, where I live at least, but still.
If I had the money, I'd buy it.

I mean, I can't sing for shit but I'd still love to have a session with them.

And I understand that some people are upset that it's just Kellin, but they're using the package as an excuse to talk shit about him.

As for the price, I'm not sure, but I'm pretty positive the record label picked the price and all Kellin did was autograph the promotional picture.

Like I said, people are looking for any excuse to tear him down.

I've seen a lot of rants on instagram about this. I think everyone's problem is the fact that its only a picture with Kellin and not the whole band. Plus since this whole thing was brought up everyone's been using it as an excuse to show how much of a "douche" they think Kellin is. I always had mixed feelings about Kellin but I don't think he was the one who made the price for the Polaroid package and I don't think he's a douche. But I do agree that the photo should be with the whole band and not just Kellin.

I had a problem with the price of it and that's just because I would never be able to afford it but like you said if there was a Polaroid package for MIW, then hell yeah I would pay for it.

I don't really like Sleeping With Sirens music and I have heard to much shit about the band members to like them either, but I don't really care. They can do whatever they want to as longs as I don't have to pay any attention to it.

I checked out this thing though, and the reaction to it is just bullshit! The price is actually really low. If 80$ is including all that it's very cheap. I don't know what normal concert tickets costs in the states but here it's normally very expensive. 80$ is around 470 NOK (norske kroner/norwegian kroner) and that is a cheap concert ticket - and that doesn't include anything more than the concert itself. A normal concert with a bigger band would be between 600-1000 NOK which is between 100-160 dollars with NOTHING included other that the show. No signings, no posters, nothing. Just the show.

Even if the concert ticket was not included in the 80 dollar package it would have been cheap here. I don't understand what the fuss is about.

I don't really know how I feel about Kellin anymore. On the one hand I see stories all over the net about how nice he is to fans but then I also hear he is a dick to them and a lot of my friends who used to be fans have seen him at festivals and agree that he isn't nice to fans. I don't know, I never payed much attention to the members of Sleeping With Sirens, just the music, so I'm really not bothered by what they do.

As for the whole package thing I don't know what most bands generally charge for that kind of stuff but I know a guy who is a driver for celebrities and he drove Kiss around and I can't remember the exact figures but it was over $1000 just for this selected group of people to meet them for like a minute and get a photo. If most bands charge that much then $80 is a fucking bargin.
