People want what they can't have. Almost every boy who rejected me ended up liking me later when I was less accessible. Don't let this get you down, just brush it off and have fun. My current boyfriend rejected me at first and then two years later fell in love with me. Timing is a strange thing. If it does get awkward, just give it a cooling period and I'm sure everything will be fine.

I was friends with a guy I met at work about 6 years ago now and I developed a crush on him. We would talk, and I knew he would talk with me like he didn't with others, so I decided to hell with it and told him I liked him.
He told me I was too weird for him.

Funny thing is, we're dating now, 5 years later. Life is weird.

Don't be down over it. It's not worth losing a friend to feel horrible over something you can't change :)
