I know, like every single blog that wasn't about the slut shaming thing seemed to say in one way or another that people should shut up about it. Idgi.

It's better than the million and one blogs where they answer pointless questions about themselves. THEY were getting annoying.

What I don't get is when people post a blog on the subject they don't want people posting about, just to say so. If you don't want to talk about it then fine, but don't tell others they can't, either.

I don't get it either. Maybe it's because they're afraid people will argue? I don't know. I happen to think it's not only a good way to express your feelings/opinions, but you can also learn a lot by reading what other people have to say.

It's just really sad that it seems like it's a concept people are less and less apt to understand or do. :/ Even in real life. If I had a dime for every time I saw a co-worker, family member, or friend jump on someone else aggressively before even TRYING to actually discuss it, I wouldn't need my job. (I'd probably have less anxiety issues as well... )

I don't know why I haven't deactivated yet. I don't write much and when I do I get no feedback, I post a blog and people either don't comment or they jump down my throat.

Yeah, apparently a lot of shit happened I didn't know about. Regardless, its not the discussion of something that needs to end, its people being totally immature and others being too touchy to handle someone being passionate about something... if that makes sense. :P

Oh, I wasn't referring to this blog specifically. Sorry if it came off that way, sweetheart. Some people on this site really are, even if they seem very mature and knowledgeable. They just can't seem to know when to just be quiet and let things go.

I don't think it's so much discussion or debate, it's arguing, if that makes sense?

Like, maybe it starts out as a debate, and people disagree, discuss it, and whatnot, but then there's always those people who have to make it personal; who have to be RIGHT and can't just agree to disagree.

They take it to a level where it doesn't need to go, and then it all just goes downhill from there.

I know... I don't even get what's going on. I've just read a few of the blogs, honestly, but this blog isn't solely about the slut-shaming thing, its about all the different times serious things come up and people act like its bad. Honestly, seems like most of the users on here are extremely immature. I guess too immature to handle such discussions.

Honestly I could write an entire book about how ridiculous most of the people on this site are. Like, seriously dude, you don't know what I've been through and you don't know how apprehensive I am to even be here lol. I'm always on the verge of deactivating.

I'm not pin-pointing any one incident but I've noticed it a lot, unfortunately.

Lol pretty much. If people just accepted the opinion that started this, agreed or agreed to disagree and kept it moving, we won't be on this right now. But lol nope. People just wanna argue to shove their opinions in people's throats to prove they're right and make response blogs. Like sis, stop. Lol. I don't know. If people want the subject to end, then don't feed it.

Yeah, which is another thing I don't understand about Mibba. Everyone is so hostile and touchy. No one can handle anyone disagreeing with them and everyone will gang up on the odd one out.

Discussion is great and I usually enjoy reading everyone's opinions on issues, but this time all I seem to be seeing is unnecessary hostility on both sides. That is something I'm not a fan of.
