Something I Don't Get About Mibba - Comments

In my opinion, this thing has been dragged out too long. I no longer care for the subject. There are bigger fish to fry in this world and no slut and no saint and everyone in between is losing sleep over this debate.

I don't really care about the whole slut shaming thing going on here. It means something to the women talking about it, cool. I've been called a slut before and it sucks, but it's a word, and it's not going to go away, just like words such as gay and faggot.

I don't post blogs voicing my political/cultural opinion because people get so aggressive. I posted a blog about feminism once and I got attacked, you'd think I'd have said something horrible, but I was just voicing my own opinion. An opinion I was evidently not allowed to have. That's what bothers me about discussions like this going on on mibba, when others are stifled for speaking up just because there's a difference in opinion.

What's wrong with discussing or debating serious things?
Nothing, as long as people can follow the rules and actually not behave aggressively towards each other, or towards people who believe differently.

I actually love talking to people about serious things, but it kinda takes the fun out when you have to worry if someone's going to jump down your throat because you have a different opinion.
