One point I need to make is that Avenged Sevenfold ALWAYS is an image heavy band, even if they make good music. Of course people would notice. But I do agree that it's ridiculous that so fucking many people only gave a shit about the hair and the fact that Arin is part of the band now. I'm most pissed at the part about Arin though. he had to have some serious balls to do that, because I totally expected that people would give flack about Jimmy/Arin. But it's been 4 years and he is the only reason why Avenged Sevenfold could carry on now. Most importantly, Arin is NOT trying to replace Jimmy, he is just filling in a spot that had been vacated and turns out that he fit in well.

AMEN!!! I couldn't agree with you more! I am so freaking excited for their new album, seeing and hearing all the hype about it is really amping me up even more, I CANT WAIT! The whole fucking uproar thats come just from the length of Matt's hair is such a fucking emberaasment to the rest of us fans, you know, the ones that are here for the fucking music! I couldnt care less that Syn is rocking some sort of mohawk, or that Shadows is supposedly channelling Axl Rose (more stupid comparisons I've seen 'fans' making). What I do care about is that Arin is finally being included in everything, that they are actually out touring again, and yes, finally new music. And I know that a lot of people are criticizing their new sound and going as far as saying its because The Rev isnt with them anymore...Id like to tell all of those people to fuck off. They are an evolving band, and I for one am so fucking happy that they push their boundaries musically, they are just going to keep growing because of it. Take note people, Avenged Sevenfold are here to stay.

Lol I mean, I don't care for his hair, but dang I'm excited about the new music. I'm so happy they're back. And Arin is awesome.I saw him play live with avenged when he first came around. :) I'm so happy he's officially part of the band. Its been almost four years since Jimmy died and I know Arin will never replaced e him but it's really good to see the guys in a good place e again.

@VeiledPrincess: I read a few of those myself. I have seen the most disgusting comments from fans about Arin, and it just absolutely makes me sick that they could even call them an Avenged Sevenfold fan.

Exactly, I just watched the video (amazing btw) and read some comments and most of them were either about their hair or about how Arin's drumming is shit... which it isn't, he's a good drummer.
