It's okay for repeated use, so far as I've gathered. It removed dark red from my hair in a single use, got it back to a pale yellow. I'd recommend getting the already powdered vitamin c (or crushing as many as you need- make sure it's finely done, though) and mixing with shampoo until it's a paste. I actually did it with conditioner, and it still worked so I think it just needs a thickening agent. Dandruff shampoo does help with stripping colour, though, so maybe try that? I suggest watching a bunch of youtube videos. I saw one where a girl managed to not actually strip the colour, but lighten it significantly after repeated dyeing. It should at least get you to a lighter, more natural base colour I would imagine, or at least get you to the point where you can dye over it in a colour closer to your natural colour.
Let me know how it goes if you do it?
I'm actually trying it right now :o I found some old vitamin D gel capsule things and I cut them open and mixed them with shampoo and coconut oil and put it in my hair. I watched like a thousand youtube videos and it seems to work pretty well! I'm going to get some of the powder tonight so I can keep doing it. I hope it'll just lighten instead of strip because underneath the black my hair is like half bleached and all fucked up lol.
