I'm scared I'm going to lose control of my characters, and some things that have nothing to do with that. - Comments

Actually this problem with characters occurs to me more often than not ahah > v <
I have planned plot and in my mind or in some sort of thesis, I know where I want it to go. However, there is this issue that often, when writing characters, the story just-- doesn't go the way I planned it.

I think it's got to do with character development, though. I get to know them better and some things just don't make sense while the others seem more fitting for them. The only actual problem is that this interferes with storyline I have in mind OTL

I think that's a problem most writers have. Not their characters wanting to come to life, but wanting to control every aspect of the story. Often times, our characters do take on a life of their own, especially if we are writing them in such a realistic manner. I think a lot of writers need to learn how to let loose. Don't try to control your characters. Work with them not against them. Many writers want to put their writing in this little planned box and often times, the characters don't want that. The story doesn't want that and deep down, neither do our minds. Writing isn't something we can completely plan out and keep in one little thing, it'll go wherever it pleases. Let your characters lead you. Your characters are a part of you after all. Try to work with them instead of trying to fight them. Let your writing and your mind just go with the flow, you know?

Oh, and you can find some layouts in the premade layouts. ^^'
