So a natural disaster happens in South Dakota, but there's no national coverage on it? - Comments

Oh my God D: I mean, I knew it was snowing out there but I can honestly say I did not hear a word about this until just now by reading your blog.October 10th, 2013 at 05:26am

@ Xia;
Of course not. People are so selfish and uncaring. You're right that they will care, but not until they can't shove food into their fat faces without paying a high price for it. Out that way is in my prayers. I liked that page on facebook and maybe when I look at it tomorrow I can find some way to be helpful.
Who knows, maybe the coverage will come later?October 10th, 2013 at 05:25am -

Oh dear. Of course, right? Sigh. Very pitiful.October 10th, 2013 at 05:22am -

@ renai.
It is horrible, but I can believe it.
No one takes the time to care about us out here. Until their food supply starts going low.October 10th, 2013 at 05:22am -

Seeing this made me want to cry. I'm surprised it hasn't been given much attention.October 10th, 2013 at 05:20am

That's what I'm hoping for--that the coverage will come later. NBCNews had a blog on it and that was biggest thing I could find.
People can be extremely selfish.

I'm going to college on the east side of South Dakota(SD is kinda divided by a river with the east side and west side references) and I didn't know anything about it until someone posted it on Facebook.
