That makes sense. My mom was mostly a stay at home mom, but she worked at times. She was a military wife and it can be easier to only have one job when you have to move all the time.

He's planning on either having a career in the Air Force, or a commercial pilot. The Air Force isn't anything certain right now, but judging by the way things are going, he has a good chance of getting accepted. If he does have a career in either one, he made it clear that he might be gone for periods of time (especially if he's a commercial pilot.) That's partially why we decided it would be best if I stayed home.

Hopefully your husband has a job where you have this possibility. I would love to be a stay at home mom and I plan to homeschool my kids, but I just don't know if we'll have the money for that to be a possibility. (Feminist, too)
