Thank you all I've already started looking through sexual misconduct policies on our school and reading about the procedure of reporting sexual harassment. I'm reading through it all to check how to work with my case.

I agree with Cali; you should definitely report him. If anything you can get him in trouble with the school for sexual harassment. Don't be afraid to bring the hammer down on him, because if he's not harassing you, he'll probably do it to someone else, and it needs to be brought to light. Being drunk is no excuse for that, nor is being in an authority position.

Like really sorry ): and like the Mibbian beneath me said, you should definitely report your professor because if he tried it with you, he is most definitely going to try it with some other unsuspecting girl. And who knows how far he could get? WHO GIVES A CRAP IF HE PAID FOR THE TRIP? That's not a free pass to be a disgusting human being, okay? MAKE A FUSS IF YOU NEED TO. I hope it all works out.

You should report him. I know it would suck to deal with, but think about it as you might be saving someone if he decides to go too far with the next person. You could be saving yourself from him going to far with you in the future. Don't let him get away with this just because he's in a position of 'power'. What's to say he hasn't already done this or worse to someone else?
