Quite the interesting question. Recently, to finish up a chapter and start a one shot, I watched some Bleach yaoi chat room stuff. No clue why, but it worked. I guess it just depends on you.

Some advice, take some time off. Like a month or so. But write little ideas here and there. Maybe that'll help. If not, oh well. I tried :)

Either while listening to the music I like or if there's complete silence.

Oh my god I'm having such a shitty case of writer's block I just wrote a scene where one of my characters broke the fourth wall and judged my writing hardcore.

I think I'm cracking up omg.

There's nothing I can do... I'm either in the mood to write or not. It's not something that can be forced for me.

I'm trying to do that with prompts (picture, word, or sentence prompts), but so far nothing Facepalm I just made a list with music that reminds me of the Joker, to see if perhaps I can start with something I'm more familiarized with. Hopefully this will work.

I tend to listen to music or write a little bit at a time.

To write, I get myself in the zone, depending on what story im writing, if it's a comedy, i'll watch a comedy movie and listen to upbeat music. If its a horror, i'll watch something scary and chuck on some heavy music. :D oh and I sit in my laziboy to write, it helps O_O

XD Omg Lee rofl, that pen.

For me what I do is I usually listen to music as you do but I actually have to be feeling a certain way before I even want to start writing, whether it be upset, happy, sad, that will show in the writing. Like my most recent story I posted, I was feeling kinda weird and spacey and that's how that kinda came out, so as long as i'm feeling a certain way my writing will come out that way and basically the way I want it.

My inspiration can literally come from anything.
I was just going around the forums and something in confessions made me start writing. Music can inspire me, but also events. I was just looking through pictures and I got my NaNo idea. (Or another one) But there were so many pictures with so much emotion I felt I had to write this story. The pictures were only of people and some scenery and the feeling moved me.

I don't really know how to explain but I kind of look at things and try to start a story about those things, may it be pictures or people or music and if I can put together a one sentence outline of what the story might be about, I go from there and let that be the skeleton. My NaNo sentence was, "They prayed for peace and got a landslide."

This might not help much cause I was kind of rambling but just message meeeee Lee. In Love
