Exactly! I was like, "Why should I go in?" then I was like "Cause you are dirt poor..." thus I will be going in, but perhaps I will leave early...hmmm...

That is a good mentality! "The weekend is two days away, I'm still drunk so I might as well treat these two days as an extra weekend!" XD I'm sure that the festive period sees the most absences from the workplace, especially the day after Christmas.

I bet half the people won't even show up, because I work in an office. They might just say be like well it's almost the weekend, so why not stay in haha!

That doesn't sound fun at all! XD I only start waking up early when I go back to sixth form in January which I am so not looking forward to because of coursework. Haha. But I hope you have fun at your work as it's Boxing Day and people should~ be in festive moods still. Maybe. Haha. Very Happy

    Haha! Sounds like a plan.

Ah, sleeping in, I unfortunately have to wake up early and go back to work. If only Christmas had been on a Friday this year haha!

I'm just going to bury my head in the sand and pretend that I don't have that to come. Mr. Green

And my Christmas day is over with as it's currently almost two am on Boxing Day but I plan to sleep in and eat today so I should have a better day than yesterday.

I really hope that never happens to me. Haha. I don't think I'd do well with that sort of thing.

Well I hope you have an enjoyable rest of Christmas day and if you ever want to strike up a conversation, I'm always happy to do so. :)

True, true, I've been playing around with it. I know I'll get it, eventually. :b

I tried to do some stuff with tutorials, but eventually just got annoyed with them. So I ended up playing around with it and got the results of the banner on the blog.
I think it's better to experiment than follow a tutorial anyways plus it's more fun...in a very frustrating sort of way haha!

Awh boo. I've been using PhotoFiltre after months of struggling with GIMP. It seems easier to use, but I haven't found any tutorials that are really helpful. x:

Oh me too, girl! I've only made like three banners prior to this one.

And I'm using Photoshop Elements, my parents got it for me.

I was like that for a long time too, then my job required I be more social, so I kind of learned haha. I was quite literally shoved out from my comfort zone haha!

    Well thank you very much!

I'm still learning. x: I'm getting to where I can get the pictures placed properly but blending is still pretty hard. What program do you use, if you don't mind me asking?

I find it's the complete opposite but I guess some people just have an easier time socialising with people! XD

Ah, okay then. But it's still really good for your third or fourth attempt.

    Merry Christmas to you too!

Thank you! That banner took me a couple of hours, I must have pulled out half my hair trying to blend and such haha.

Strangely, I'm really good at making friends in real life..so I figured the internet would be a piece of cake lol

It's not my first attempt, more like my third or fourth, haha.

I find making friends on the Internet/Mibba sooo much more easier than making friends in real life so I don't feel the "harder than it should be" way. XD But I dunno, I guess I can see it sort of from that perspective but if you bond over a band/story/author/TV show than I find it's easier to strike more conversations up.

Practice will definitely improve your banner making skills a lot but your first attempt (?) for that story is great anyway so it'll be easier for you to get a grasp on making them and tidying up your skills.
