I agree with oversharing on social networks, but I also think that just because we're online doesn't mean people should have free reign to be asshats. I've posted about my relationship on Mibba A LOT because I have no other place to post about it where RL people don't know me. I've asked people not to tell me to dump my boyfriend. I think I have that right.

I woulda done the same thing. My brother was attacked by his baby mama's (she turned out to be an unfaithful harlot (harlot because whore might be inappropriate)) GRANDMOTHER. A 70 year old woman, hating on my brother because he wouldnt move to another state where she had a crappier than what he had job she wanted him to take. Im like, Facebook is the devil, youre a self righteous old lady, and I blocked em all because damn, they were adults acting like 14 year olds. I cant handle that stuff lol.

You did the right thing, I feel. Just because you're family doesn't make you responsible for backing him up when he's in the wrong.
