Oh yeah, I completely agree with you there, girls are way more mature than boys, even at that young age. All I wanted to do at that age was read books, make cakes and obsess over my favourite bands haha. Boys were gross XD

This is true. However we gotta remember, kids are doing things way younger these days. I put it down to MTV. -nods-

Haha, bra's are just like treasure hunting devices! Also, I totally get you on the expsensive thing. 34DDD's are the same price, but I'm actually getting a reduction. :)

    @ Death The Angel
This isn't so much about how guys act like horn dogs, I've definitely experienced that (just only out of 17+ guys), it's more the way that girls are portrayed to be throwing their super horny bodies at guys.

    @ rachthebat.
I can imagine boys acting like this at a young age; however, the idea that girls (who are usually quite insecure at the age of 15) would be capable of going along with that and asking him to 'take her' is a absurd to me.

    @ Tholomew Plague
I suppose these people do exist, and I'm sorry if you have run into those like them. Still, these characters are truly a hyperbole of how people (usually older then the authors) act, and can be insulting. I think it's a bit silly to infer that a 15 year old can be a 'sex God' when he probably hasn't figured out how to masturbate yet and how a vagina works.

I agree with numbers, 1 and 3 but, these days, kids are having sex younger and younger. Thinking back to my teenage years, all of my male friends were horny dogs, trying any way they could to "get some". Granted, not all teenagers are like this, but yeah, most are little horn dogs haha.

OMG - thank you. It's about time somebody not only acknowledged this, but had intelligent insight behind it. I cannot count how many times I've read a story with one of these stereotypes in it, and it has more recommendations and comments than most of my stories combined. It frustrates me, because it can take me months and years to develop a story, it's characters each with little flaws and plot comeuppances, when someone will stroll in with a story about a big breasted slut whose secretly insecure and shy, and how she's totally in love with the asshole pervert who treats her like shit and they fall in love and live happily ever after- BLAH BLAH BLAH. Like, no, just no. It's totally unfair, and unjust. And it seriously irks me. I've read brilliant and amazing stories on here, that get NO credit, because there are those few who just can't recognize these stereotypical flaws for what they are. Like Jebus Gilchrist. Figure it out, guys. Just cause you write a stereotypical, predictable and envious-to-those-seemingly-unable-to-differentiate-superficial-ideals-from-plausible-reality characters, your story is magnificent. And I'm going to start pooping unicorns, because that's how much sense that makes to me.

    Okay, rant done. xx

Sorry but I have to disagree with you on "The player boy" because where I come from teenagers are having sex at 14-15 and most guys have gone through puberty by the time they're 16. And I've also heard that some guys do talk like that even though it's sexual harassment.

    YES.
    THE BOOB THING.

I am a 36DDD and I have been asked on more than one occasion who my surgeon is. It's like, really?! Between the back pain and trying to find a bra that is cute, supportive, AND I won't have to sell a kidney to afford its a nightmare.

Also, the things I find in my bra amaze me. A half a tub of pop corn after a movie? Check. A gummy bear? Check. Money? Check. This can be really inconvenient (and embarrassing).

And beyond that the comments people make (and they find totally appropriate!) are mortifying. I worked as a waitress my freshman year of college and a table full of guys felt the need to tell me I was "stacked like a sleeve of Oreos".

PHEW. Sorry. Got off on a rant there.
    Anyways. Bless this post Hail
    Thank you, sweet stranger.

As someone primarily of the band fiction community, I can definitely vouch for the abusive parents. Anything to add to "teh angst.":(

This is amazing. You know what the worst thing is, too? That people think like this both outside and inside of the writing world. Just yesterday I was totally mortified in the middle of my advanced fiction writing class by two boys who thought that I was going to be a snob/ thought I was in a sorority because I was in a cute dress, hair and face done, and I had tea with me. We had to work in groups and after talking about Star Wars, Rolling Stones and Great Gatsby, one of them looked at me right in the face and said, "Wow, I thought you were a sorority bitch. I was wrong."

Seriously? I was so embarrassed they thought that just because of how I was dressed. Just like people think that way of characters JUST because they're dressed/ look a certain way in writing. UGH.

I had huge breasts from the age of ten, and I love rubbing them in my boyfriends face. LOL, I am a steriotype ;(

But your right, I do have insanely bad back problems, I have to have at least one massage a week for it, I also have to wear push up bras because they are too heavy for regular bras. I used to only have double D's, but now I've gone up to an E size :/ They are amazing, but fucking horribly painful.

Haha, on the second point, my boyfriend actually said those exact words to me before we got together, but it was in a joking way. You are right, although dudes are getting facial hair way younger these days. At least where I live. My 14 year old cousin has a Mo, hahah, it looks ridiculous though because he's still a baby face.

I totally get all these points, unfortunately, these people do exsist and I've encountered every single one of them. I myself am the ADHD kid, although I know what the hell it is, because I have it. It bothers me when people write about things they don't actually have, and expect people to like it. I don't care if you read up about it, reading about an issue, and having it, is a completely different thing.

    This is excellent. x
