*taps chin in thought* My theory is the Theory of Slow Updates. Published books are finished and usually they're together by the end. Whereas, if a story isn't updated very often, people might want them together sooner. Less hair-pulling and exasperation.January 8th, 2014 at 05:24am

Excuse me, but there needs to be a story titled Honeycomb Phase like yesterday.- kitsch:
- It's like pre-honeymoon phase. The honeycomb phase.
YOU KNOW AND IT'LL HAVE ALL THAT ANGST AND THE BICKERING AND THE LOVE AND THE HATE AND THE RELATIONSHIP DEVELOPMENT PHASES YOU KNOW ALL THAT STUFF. ALL OF IT. AND THEN SOME! BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT QUITE THERE YET, YOU KNOW. THEY'RE JUST A COMB OF HONEY.
MAYBE NOT EVEN THAT YET. THEY'RE THE HONEY BUCKET (SO MAYBE THEY HAD A SHITTY START TO THE RELATIONSHIP, WHATEVS), THEN THE HONEY COMB, AND THEN THE HONEY MOON.

Oh my gosh, did you just make that up? That is so cute
It's so true! Something has to be really good to do that.January 8th, 2014 at 02:37am -
It's like pre-honeymoon phase. The honeycomb phase.
That's why I adore those moments so much because of the rarity. It inspires me to try to evoke similar emotions with my writing.January 8th, 2014 at 02:31am -

I think it has something to do with that whole "honeymoon phase" people talk about in relationships it's just so intense!
Oooh, that's a good one too! That rarely happens to me though.January 8th, 2014 at 02:29am -
I am a sucker for reading and writing "the build up." It's fluffy and intense all at the same time.
And if a story moves me to the point of laughing or crying, well. That's a big deal to me.January 8th, 2014 at 02:21am -
@ Tholomew Plague
Really?! I never see that! That's sad
@ ptvjaime
It's my favorite part! I wonder why it's the other way aroundJanuary 8th, 2014 at 12:56am -
The strange thing about the build up is that, in published novels it's like a major deal, but online what I tend to see is that everyone wants them to get together instantly and wants to follow along with them being together.January 8th, 2014 at 12:52am

I love all of these things aswell. I feel like they get a bad wrap though.January 8th, 2014 at 12:26am
