The teen girls are just as bad, they are spreading the same shit. Hearing it from their parents and telling everyone else.

jesus. that is ridiculous. i'm sorry you're having to deal with this. it sounds like the private school i attended for 8 years. all of the moms were always stirring up drama with their daughters and their friends.

In the small town I grew up in all the petty, rich moms did was gossip, an one of their daughters told them I was pregnant (because I had gained a little weight) and that no one knew who the father was. The next dam day peoe asked me if I'd chosen baby names, and the worst part was I was only in eight grade. So I completely feel your pain

This has happened to me before as well. Old ladies are such gossips and have nothing better to talk about than other people.

I'm suprised that its the old ladies fueling this. Has life become that boring that they're just content with spending what little time they have left gossiping about a random teenage girl? But no seriously, say you were pregnant, what would the big deal be? You're legally an adult and as you said you're in a long term comitted relationship.

Last time I found out that I was "pregnant" via one big game of Chinese whispers around town I was gonna follow my (now ex) boyfriends mothers advice and take one of the grandkids and go for a walk down to the shop with her in the stroller, just to stir some more shit.

My mom always said that the people who spread gossips are the people who are jealous of other people's lives so they spread lies to make them feel better about themselves. And sometimes I think my mom is right.

People once said I did drugs and had a wild lifestyle although I barely got out of the house and I spent most of my time sleeping, reading or writing. I was infuriated at first but then I thought, whatever, you know. We can never silent people so I just ignored them and over time, they just shut their mouths. Don't give them the satisfaction of seeing that what they said get to you.

I feel sorry for you though.
