I'm not forced to go to church anymore- probably around the time that I was twelve, I stopped going... but that still hasn't stopped the scorn I receive when my grandmother asks me if I'm attending and whatnot. I don't really believe in the concept of church period, and while I try to avoid that discussion all together... It's frustrating the way she treats me about it. I will never go on account of someone else, and I don't think I would ever force my own children to go someday if they didn't want to.

My friend's grandparents make her go to their church and she can't stand it. I agree completely with what you're saying, but I also think that people don't need to go to a church to be true in their faith.
