So glad to hear your living your dreams. I hope one day I can post a similar blog but it read "I cooked Avenged Sevenfold"....lol. That is my dream, to be a personal chef for musicians everywhere, but it would be huge to cook for Avenged. Something I am really working hard to do.

Haha, yeah, I got wet a lot but managed to duck and keep my face/head dry. I didn't mind so much though because it was hot as hell in the pit.

Yeah, the first time I saw them was in 2008, I think, at the Hordern. Then 2010 at HeavyMTL in Canada, 2011 at the entertainment centre, Soundwave then Tuesday night at the Big Top. Yeah, it would be good to see them on their own tour again, but I'm satisfied for now. Haha. The DVD should be good, too

Yeah, that's true - the pyro probably would have made for some killer photos, though. But then, it would also have made shooting conditions more difficult.

I swear, he must have poured an entire bottle over me. I was soaked. I nearly copped it a second time too, but saw it coming that time and ran just in time - my back got hit, but the rest of me was safe. =P

Five times! I'm totally jealous! ...actually, that marks my fourth time seeing them. I wasn't a fan when they toured here in 2006, but I've seen them every time they came to Sydney after that. =) It would be awesome if they would tour off this album again! But either way, there's a DVD coming, so we can relive it whenever we like. ;)

Yeah, I expected Fiction but maybe they figured it was a little too slow for their sideshow. I did see them at Soundwave, that was a great show. I was kind of glad there were no pyro's on Tuesday night because it gets so damn hot with them.

I'm glad your camera wasn't affected by the water. My friend copped nearly a full bottle of water in the face from him... I ducked just in time. Hahaha.

That would've been cool, but I'm also satisfied for now. Haha. I've now seen them 5 times.... I'm happy to wait for the 6th. Hopefully they your again off this album, but I'm not holding my breath.

I was a little stunned they didn't play "Fiction", to be honest. "God Hates Us" would have been awesome as well. Did you see them at Soundwave? Such an amazing show. <3 At least we got to see the pyro there!

My friend tried to get me into Five Finger Death Punch. I don't mind them, but not a huge fan. I was having a great time shooting them too, until their singer doused myself and my camera with a bottle of water during their first song. I had to run to my bag, dry off my lens, then get out there and keep shooting. Bit of an inconvenience, and he's just lucky he didn't damage my equipment. ;)

Ugh, it was such a great show though. I wish I could have seen them in Melbourne again last night.

Haha, that's fine. Yeah, Eternal Rest was awesome was happy with the whole show, but I must admit that I was disappointed we didn't get God Hates Us. But I have seen it live before, so I can't really complain. Five Finger Death Punch were really good too. I'd heard them before, but don't own any albums. Now I need to go get some, they were that good

=O You know the real kicker here? I probably saw you and didn't even realise it! In fact, I know I would have. I love watching the crowds and as us photographers were all gathered on Zacky's side of the stage anyway, it's likely I saw you several times. =P

Sorry I didn't get to say hello! But I agree, the show was so good! I nearly died when they played "Eternal Rest". =D

As soon as I saw this blog, I realised that was you in the media/security pit! Me and my friends were in the front row, doubt you saw us, but we were in front of Zacky and I have bright purple hair. Haha. How good were there? We had to wait in line for like 8 hours for the front row, but it was totally worth it. Hahaha.
